Great colouring fun for little one!
My 2 year old loves colouring this in with paint pens and will be occupied for the longest time. After she's done colouring, she loves imaginary play with her other toys with the van. We previously also bought the doughnut van. I can see this being used indoors or outdoors. So many possibilities!

Several rainy days of fun for a 3 year old
Bought for my ice cream and vehicle obsessed three year old, this has been a brilliant purchase! We got it for £10 and it has got us through several rainy days at home between decorating, selling ice creams, 'driving' it around, and eating his dinner in there. It is surprisingly sturdy given the rough treatment it takes and being cardboard when it does eventually break it'll go in the recycling.

Children were enjoying the coloring in.
I buy lots from Hobbycraft as I am a keen knitter/crochter. I bought this a month ago for my grand daughters. We happily started colouring it in and when we came to put it together the awning and shelf were missing. They were so disappointed ☹️ hard to return it as it had been coloured in but would think again about buying another one.

Ice cream van fun
Fabulous craft entertainment designing the ice cream van and hours of fun afterwards to play in. This one isn't as big as some of the other designs too which is great as it doesn't take over the entire room. This gave the product more longevity as we have had it up for a couple of months now and they're still playing with it.

Not the easiest to put together
Not the easiest to put together. Maybe suitable for 1 child but 2 children just fought over being inside and the 1 year old destroyed it (it wasnt for him in all fairness). We had a blast colouring the large design but its still deconstructed in the playroom.

Ice cream van
Bought this for a 4 year old, easy to put together with parents and she loved colouring it in with felt pens. Bought some ice cream cones and marshmallows so she had something to sell

Lovely but insufficient for any use
This was easy enough to put together but continuously came apart. Constantly needing to fix ended up breaking parts.

What is the best thing for decorating these? Would felt tip pens be ok, or is paint needed? (Will be used by 3year olds)
My 6-year-old daughter enjoys drawing and putting stickers on it. The material is just like normal paper so any kind of colouring pen is workable.
