Very disappointed
I bought this yesterday as I was ready to layer my quilt. I followed washing instructions exactly, as I wanted to preshrink it. Disaster! The wadding fell into holes as I lifted it out of the washing machine, and was completely useless. I looked on the Hobbycraft website to double check I hadn’t misread the instructions, only to find that others have had the same experience. I am not alone. If only I had thought to read the reviews first. But I’m quite cross that the product hasn’t been withdrawn, or that the instructions haven’t been amended. £32 for quilt wadding isn’t cheap, and I was very disappointed.
I have had my money refunded, when I took the wadding back to Hobbycraft, but I won’t buy more, I don’t trust it. And I had used my £5 October voucher, but the refund didn’t reflect this, so it seems I’ve lost that…..not very happy.

Fell apart when washing
I planned to use this for a baby quilt. I followed the instructions for a pre-wash and used a delicate cycle with minimal spin, and yet massive holes appeared in the wadding as can be seen in the attached image. Very disappointed, I wish I'd stuck to the polyester wadding I'm used to.

So Disappointed
I bought this as I was making a full size quilt
When trying to straighten the 3 layers this wadding just went into holes. Not at all satisfied for the money paid. Unusable.

Rubbish!
Rubbish product. I’ve already reviewed this, as have several others who had the same experience. It disintegrated in the wash, although the instructions were followed to the letter.
I’ve already returned it and had my money refunded.

Brilliant for patchwork quilting. Not too thick and much less fluffy than the polyester one that gets caught up in my sewing machine. It’s lovely and warm for such a thin layer so perfect for quilts.

Disappointed with this as the thickness varied considerably and there were 2 holes in it. Not upto previous Hobbycraft standards.

Poor quality.
Disappointed, it has constantly shed a lot of fluff causing a lot of mess. I will not purchase it again.
