What are Smart Materials?

These craft materials work without a cutting mat, so you can just load the material directly into the machine. Smart Materials come in a variety of material types, including Smart Vinyl, Smart Iron-On and Smart Paper Sticker Cardstock.

When will I need to replace the blades?

Blade replacement depends on how much you use your Cricut machine and which materials you choose. They are designed to last well, but replacement blades are easily available for when you do require a new one.

Can I use other brands of vinyl or iron-on with this machine?

You can use other brands of materials, but you will need to place them on a cutting mat. Cricut materials have been tested with all Cricut machines to know the exact pressure required for the cut. They are also clearly identifiable on the list of materials you choose from when cutting.

On first logging into Design Space, you will be taken on a tour and shown how to create your first project. Shes had the maker 1 and maker 3 so was looking forward to what this new machine had to offer.She went straight to her work room opened the box and tried to plug it iinto her pc and it came with a USB C connection and not the USB it states on the info sheet. Finally i found a lead that fit great here we go.
