Daler-Rowney Graduate Oval White Goat Wash Brush 3/4 Inches

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful I have a few of these brushes which I use for both watercolours and ceramics. They hold a good amount of paint/water/glaze and the handles are comfortable. Never disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall great product This brush is fantastic for large areas and washes. It's very soft and works well with water colour. It's a very good product for the small cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quite good for blending I am new to painting so am not very experienced with equipment etc. I bought this brush because I thought it looked good for blending and was on sale. It blends acrylics quite well however doesn't make it very smooth and fluffy but rather a bit jagged. Also many of the bristles fell out. But overall did the job I bought it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent quality at a great price Was after a brush for water washes with Caran D'ache pencils. This ws perfect, nice short handle so can travel well, good amount of liquid held and feels super soft on the hand but seems rugged enough to last too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality for the price Having seen Terry Harrison's demo video of his Lunar Mop brush, and how good it is for creating cloudy skies in watercolour, I really wanted one but unfortunately the budget wouldn't stretch to it. I then happened across this brush, which is incredibly similar but a fraction of the price. I have tried it out and was able to produce an effect pretty similar to that in the aforementioned video, and considering I've only been watercolour painting for just over a month I think that's a definite win for this brush! Although the handle has a noticeable plasticky feel to it (not surprising given it's made of plastic!), the brush otherwise generally feels good quality - better than its price point would suggest - and handles well. Thus far I have not had any issues with shedding hairs, it cleans easily with soap and retains its shape. It also holds a lot of water and so, in addition to the above, it is also good for pre-wetting paper and laying down the larger washes on smaller-scale paintings (e.g. A5 size) instead of using a hake brush - which would be a bit too large for that scale. I like it so much I intend to purchase the other sizes too, when finances allow.
