Great versitile paper
You really can use it for any medium. With watery washes, it bends initially but straightens out when it dries without any lasting wrinkling or any damage to the page. This is surprising with a low weight paper. You might want to tape it down for watery paintings. Also, you can't tear the pages out of their spiral binder as the paper is way too strong and you'll damage the paper trying, so use a scissors and cut the pages out. I highly recommend this paper.

Good quality, versatile paper
I am actually using this paper to print on from my inkjet printer to create black and white prints which I then could using either watercolour paints or coloured pencil. The paper (as stated) is great for mixed media. It has a great texture and looks fantastic in a frame with a mount also. Despite being thick I have no problems printing onto this paper and it holds the ink well. It does not appear to warp or stretch when paint is applied to it either, although the amount which i have applied so far has not been exsessive. It vuts nicely, I trim this paper with a Stanley blade and ruler and it's not too thick. For the price you pay for this paper I would say it is exceptionally good value for money. Compared to watercolour paper this paper is very cheap. I don't think I would recommend using markers on this paper as it looks like it would absorb too much ink, besides it is textured so it would lose definition anyway. Saying that I haven't tried it but that Is just an observation.

Good sized, quality sketch pad for all round use
My 10 year old boy had been sketching on loose sheets and was - at first - looking for scrap book. I suggested he tried to use a book and so we went looking. Hobby craft had a nice range but this particular book was a good size with high quality paper. He started sketching but was easily encouraged to try out some acrylics and watercolour. He's very proud of his efforts and now he likes to show friends and family his work.

Sturdy, versatile pad
After reading mixed reviews about this pad I have found from first hand experience that it suits me perfectly. I work with mixed media and this paper is thick enough for water based colour as well as collage and many other types of work. I like the texture which gives plenty of tooth for pencil and pastel. The sheets have a satisfying semi-rigid feel when separated from the pad making handling and mounting a pleasure. Nice bright white and, very importantly, acid free. I bought two and will be coming back for more.

10/10
I love this sketchbook, purchased my first online a few years ago and never went back to the a series sketchbooks. Paper is a good white base and thick without becoming too textured. . Have now used this for all my portraits for over 3 years. I use mainly for pencil drawing and some pen drawing however I’ve also painted on this paper and it is hardy enough for watercolours.
Spiral bind is not the strongest so perhaps best for home/study use?

It is what it says it is....
I'm always wary of paper that states it is 'multi-media' because I like my acrylic paper and I like my water colour paper but I have to admit that this paper withstands both most adequately! I'm an amateur, hobby artist that used to only use acrylic paint but have been introduced recently to water colour so like to drift between the two but this obviously meant, or so I thought, having to purchase both papers but I can now keep the budget down by using this day to day. Granted I pay a little more occasionally for a specific medium piece of art but I absolutely recommend this pad for student, graduate & professional work. It's a good price and is of course there should I choose to try charcoal or pastels.
I did a piece of continuous wet on wet water colour and it withstood it beautifully without buckling or bubbling so I'm really pleased with this pad!

Daler Rowney mixed media A3 pad
A product of excellent quality, contained more pages than many of it's counterparts and at 250gsm the thickness is ideal for all the mediums I am likely to use in Art classes this year. I was also looking for a pad which had the spiral binding on the short edge. Would have liked a hard cover but it was a bargain price, so I bought two!
