Brilliant light in every respect
I bought myself this light as I had read several excellent reviews of Daylight lamps and needed one to do my artwork. I tend to produce very detailed ink drawings but my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, so low light levels have made this difficult of late. I saw this model advertised by Hobbycraft and therefore bought it on-line as it was a good price.
It's the best purchase I've made in years! It has 2 light strips which can be splayed out to spread the light or put together to increase its intensity in one area. Each strip can be turned on independently and has 4 intensity settings, all changed by a touch-sensitive button so easy to use. The light is brilliant; amazingly bright on the brightest setting and enabling me to see the finest detail. The light is evenly spread along each strip so illuminates the subject perfectly. Its daylight spectrum means that the real colour of objects is seen, whereas some other lamps impart an unnatural hue that changes the colour of subjects and paintings.
Can't recommend it too much. Every artist should have one of these!

DuoPro table lamp
Excellent table lamp. Being used to light table for drawing... and reduce shadows... Gives a good spread of light over a good area.. dual lights both have 4 stages of brightness.
