Great product
I obviously didn't drop enough hints about getting some of these for Christmas. So I was delighted to find them in the sale in Hobby Craft. This is such a useful product if you like to blend your pencil crayons or add seamless lines to your water colour paintings. For best results, use on water colour paper.

Unsure whether it was worth it
I'm not sure about such a small collection of pencils and whether it's actually worth it because of the random choice of colours. I'd have expected some of the more core colours such as burnt umber or ultramarine, sap green - the staple type colours for any paint collection, so why not in pencils. I have the Derwent 24 watercolour paint set as well as a larger collection of Inktense pencils plus Inktense blocks and many other collections from Derwent; Artist, Coloursoft, Acadamy (would love the chromaflow ones)- so given the odd range of colours this tin offers - I'm not entirely sure...
They'll come in handy for mark making over watercolour painting and will mix in more of the Inktense colours - although properties differ slightly. A nice addition to my stash nontheless.

Wonderful quality watercolour pencils
I've always liked Derwent pencils and couldn't resist these watercolour pencils when I saw them in the shop. I was looking to achieve soft, even shading and these pencils were just perfect!
