Weirdly enough when I purchased this product in store I wasn't 100% sure on whether it was silver or not as it didn't quite look like it. But I purchased it anyway as it was a very pretty shade. So I think that would my only criticism of the product if you were purchasing online, is not to expect actual silver shade

Quite hard to use
I found this item fairly hard to use, as a beginner I should of purchased an easier thread to us, as I have tried to take one piece of thread out and ended up getting it all knotted up, beautiful thread but not ideal for beginner

Now this metalic floss can be a little temperamental, it can snag quite a bit, so take it slow and steady.

Lovely colour
The metallic embroidery threads look great if you know how to use them. I embroidered onto jute but found that they kept fraying and were difficult to thread a needle with. The solution I came up with was to lubricate the length of the thread with Decopatch varnish as this is what I had on hand. This worked a treat, however, it does stiffen the thread a little. Dip your finger into the liquid and run it along the thread and allow to dry.

Looks amazing!
I bought several colours in this range and I cannot complain about any of them. The colours are lovely and clear. As for the shimmer in the thread; I think it is perfect. A good balance between colour and shimmer. Would definitely buy it again.
The thread is more rigid than the non shimmering ones, but that was the be expected. Great product!
