This product has great light reflecting qualities
Unlike most people who use embroidery floss for embroidering on hoops or clothing items, I use my embroidery thread for making friendship bracelets which sometimes makes using bad quality thread hard, however, with dmc you can never go wrong. Their quality is unlike none and this thread was much easier to work with than others I have used in the past.

amazing thread
I bought this thread to cross stitch a wedding dress on the wedding sampler I am making. Personally I'd don't like using this type of thread as I don't like the feel of it. But it gives a great effect. It is best to use short lengths at a time. I would certainly recommend it.

Beautiful effect.
I love this product. Only discovered it on the off-chance when I was looking for a different colour thread. It’s just beautiful. The effect when it hits the light is just stunning and because it’s so light you can mix it with other colours to add a shimmer to your sewing.

Lovely detail to cross stitch
This thread is a great addition to a cross stitch piece. It gives a lovely sparkle detail - i have bought a few of the colours in this range. It is not quite as easy to use as the regular embroidery thread because it is more coarse but it still works up a treat

Sparkly and reasonably strong
Bought this to create the web effect for a birthday present and it worked perfectly! The sparkles really showed up and the durability is fantastic to create the web as it needs to be pulled tightly. Overall fantastic and would buy again for another project.

Pretty but not the best
This thread is really really pretty but as it’s a bit thicker and it frays and tangles easier and can be quite hard to use if you haven’t had practice. However the end result is pretty.

Mixed feelings
I did not realise how horrible this is to stitch with, it is worse than metallics, pulling it through wax does help but still not brilliant. It does do water really well though.

Beautiful and sparkly but so difficult to work with very course and tends to snap or fray so took longer to finish my cross stitch as had to carefully stitch with it
