Very helpful
Brilliant for those learning to be the budding artist ( my gt nephew ) and it keeps them away from the online screens.
Brought with the water colour pencils which are less messier than paints.
The book teachers you what to look for in the basic shapes to look out for to start your drawing, then work from there. I.e. the shape of the animal.
Taught me so I might get one for myself and have a go because I cannot draw,
I spent longer than I thought I would in store as there is so many things to do for the crafter. I enjoyed it, which is unusual for me to do as I don’t like shopping, it’s got plenty of ideas for me to do in my retirement.

Very good product and customer service.
As well as other items like watercolour paints, I bought an art book for a child who loves to draw. It's not easy to choose a suitable book so when the assistant A..... told me she had used the same book as a child and found it excellent, I was happy to buy it. A...... works in Hobbycraft but she is also an illustrator so that proved the point. The seven year old loves the book. I will be back to buy some Christmas gifts.

Useful for learning proportions and movement
Bought it for my son but use it for myself to draw with him. It's useful for me to learn how to draw animals that aren't just stick figures with wonky proportions. The only negative is that there isn't a finished (read that polished) version of the animal, only the last tweaks to the animal before the final polishing off. Would kinda like to see the drawing in its final state.

Love this book
Well worth a buy. Love that this book explains in multiple stages the structures for accurate drawings of animals. Too many of them have only a few stages and it's a leap to get between them for newbies.
