Don't buy this! Unless you want a deflated balloon
Started deflating within a few hours. By the evening it was nearly at the floor so will be completely flat in the morning. So disappointed as spent nearly £10 getting it inflated aswell. Please don't buy this product!!

Balloon
Kept deflating, not sure if there was a problem with the batch of balloons as even replacement was no good. A very disappointed granddaughter .

Deflated
Whilst shape and colour were good the balloon did not stay inflated. It had started to go down by the time we got home. Very disappointed.

Extremely Disappointing – Poor Quality and Not Wor
I ordered the Extra Large Gold Foil Number 2 Balloon from Hobbycraft for my son’s 2nd birthday, planning to collect it in-store and have it filled with helium there. What should’ve been a simple, joyful purchase quickly turned into a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal.
After paying both for the balloon and for it to be inflated in store, the first balloon deflated in my car almost immediately. I returned to the store for a replacement — only for the second one to do the exact same thing. In total, I had to go back three times within a 15-minute window just to get a working balloon.
The third balloon held up until the actual morning of my son’s birthday… and then it started deflating too. I found this incredibly upsetting, especially when I was trying to make the day special for him. What’s worse, the staff told me this is a regular issue with these particular foil number balloons, which makes me question why Hobbycraft continues to sell them.
To make matters more frustrating, shops like Card Factory offer free helium inflation when you buy your balloon from them — yet at Hobbycraft, I had to pay for both the balloon and the helium, only to receive a product that failed multiple times due to poor quality.
The only positive part of this experience was the two staff members who helped me. They were truly lovely and did their best to assist each time, but even they acknowledged this is a common issue. That alone should be a red flag.
Overall, this balloon was a waste of money and added unnecessary stress to what should have been a happy celebration. I definitely won’t be buying foil number balloons from Hobbycraft again.
