Does the job really well
I had been looking for this item for a while and not been able to find it in black until someone recommended Hobycraft.
They had a wide selection and I purchased it straight away. It is great for bases and ornaments. It protects them from scratching the surface you wish to display them on

I use it for cutting rhinestone templates on my Silhouette Cameo Cutting machine and find it very good.

Really good product. Value for money.
Would prefer in-store staff to display it better, as I had to search through a handful of them to find one that wasn't damaged from being displayed in the standard Fablon display unit which only has slim sections that fit standard fablon rolls. The Velour roll is too thick to fit, but they have been rammed in & permanently damaged in the process.

Black Velvet paper self adhesive
High Quality velvet paper which can be used for lots of arts and crafts, it comes with a peel of paper which has grids and makes it easier to cut straight, loved making my rose boxes! Highly rate the quality and ease of usage! The price is affordable, and is actually cheaper than purchasing online. I will definitely be purchasing more.

Unusable due to storage issues.
I bought rolls of green and black but both were unusable due to the way they had been stored. They had been squeezed into the wire rack that wasn’t really big enough which had left marks in the felt throughout the entire length of both rolls. I returned them to the store and went through the remaining 6 or 7 rolls that they had left but unfortunately the entire stock was damaged too. The rack appears to be for the normal plastic Fablon which is a slimmer roll but the felt rolls are thicker because of their construction and won’t fit into the rack without being forced. Once they have been there for a while the damage is permanent. It’s not really the fault of the product, which I have used many times over the years, or the store, as the rack is supplied by Fablon and therefore that’s where the product is displayed.
