Not the taste of real strawberries, strawberryish.
Expensive but adds a hint of flavour. I maybe needed to add more. Used 3 teaspoons in a 3 egg cake mix. Synthetic is too strong a word, but no substitute for real strawberries. Gives a pink colour. Jury out.

Worth a go
I am always skeptical when buying food flavourings. But this is very tasty. Im certainly a picky person when it comes to flavours, it tastes nice and it adds a touch of pink to the cake mix / icing. It reminds me of the strawberry cake mix I used to use as a kid ( the pink strawberry tom and jerry ones, tastes just as I remember those) happy with the flavour. Dont need much really.
