educational but flimsy
Bought this for my 6 year old daughter.
We were struggling to get the solar panel working then one of the wires snapped off - unfortunately I don't own a soldering iron so couldn't fix it. Had more success with the little wind turbine although the tower doesn't really fit together or stand up well. In the end we just took the turbine and LED light, got creative with some bits of balsa and mounted them on her Sylvanian Families house, which delighted her.
I guess for £9 you can't expect a lot more these days. It's potentially a good way to teach your kids where renewable power comes from, just be ready to improvise and be careful with that solar panel.
