Hello! I am looking to use this for an acquatic project, so I would like to know the density of this foam if possible. Thanks!
We can advise the following:
Density Calculation = weight/volume
Weight of one roll    165g = 0.165kg
Volume (length x width x height, in metres) 0.004m x 0.5m x 1.0m = 0.002 m3
Density is measured as 82.5 kg/m3.
It likely it would withstand underwater conditions, this foam is free from harmful chemicals and would not be expected to break up in water - however we would not recommend its use with any living aquatic creatures as this item has not been tested under these conditions and we would not be able to guarantee the safety of the creatures and do not recommend this product be used as a filtration alternative or in conjunction with any other use concerning aquatic life.
