I found what I was looking for, however the numbers of the cottons were not in a logical order and it took me ages to find the number I was looking for. When I mentioned it to a staff member she said they also find it a problem, when refilling the stock. The sensible solution would be for someone to take time to organise the cottons in order, don't you think!

Excellent Thread
I always buy Gutermann thread for my sewing projects. The thread is strong and they have a good range of colours - specially for this unusual wedding dress I’m currently making. Will always aim to buy Gutermann :)

Not as good as it usec to be
Gutermann thread seems to be thinner than it used to be. When hand sewing it knots and tangles easily and splits and breaks sometimes when machine sewing.

Quality thread for machine sewing
Good quality thread. Used for sewing curtains. Would have been useful to be able to buy larger reels. Each curtain panel used a full reel.

Great thread
Good strong thread that is unlikely to twist and knot when being used.
Good colour hold when washed.
I always choose Gutermann.
