Nice thread
Thread is a lighter one, medium strength I'd say.
Lasted a long time, slightly silky to touch.
Used for first quilt without problems.

Good quality but outer layer of thread was dirty
I only use Gutterman thread and the quality is excellent.
Unfortunately the top layers of all the spools of this colour (659) were dirty; I had to wind the top layer of thread onto a bobbin as it was too dirty to use on the project where it will show. I'll use it where the sewing won't show in case it doesn't wash out.

Poor quality
Disappointed with the quality of this cotton. It is not spun well, keeps snagging because of excess fluff spun in spool and is also grubby in patches. Result of poor manufacture or faulty spool not Hobby craft.

Have used for piecing and quilting, on my second quilt with the pink. I have used this thread for some years. Very rare for breakage or fluff. Great for machine or hand sewing.
