Good quality thread in a good range of colours.
I've always found Gutermann thread to be reliable (not breaking suddenly mid-seam or unravelling as I sew), and as it comes in a good range of colours I can generally find the shade that I need. This one is a dark navy blue rather than purple, excellent for sewing deep-coloured fabrics that are not quite black.
