Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine, but had to exchange So i originally ordered my minc machine at the begining of the year (as soon as i got the email it was back in stock!)... The machine is pretty heavy, but that reassured me it contains heavy rollers inside to do the foiling job properly (or atleast better than my other branded foiling machine). I was not dissappointed! On first attempt it worked beautifully. I use smooth card stock and the foil adheres to it perfectly. I did also try uncoated black card, on level 4heat and the foil worked well on that too, but with a more incomplete ‘rustic’ outcome. For anyone thinking of buying- although a bit pricey, it is defo worth the buy, for what its porpose is, no other machine matches its performance. I personally do suggest not following the heat settings the manual advises, and instead up the heat by an extra number in order to get the best foil coverage. As i found even on smooth card stock the heat needed to be higher for it to produce a flawless result. I cant say it always turns out 100% perfect but for a home crafting machine, i havnt been let down by it yet. With the machine, You do recieve one piece of foil with it. And although heidi swapp has her own foils, i find Deco art foil to be the best to work with. You also get one large heat folder- again thats great but with the continuous use and heat, it will cause the folder to get ‘ripples’ which can affect your work, so thankfully hobby craft also sell the folder for £5 which i think is a necessary buy with this machine. Sadly after a few uses i realised something was rolling around inside the machine (like a small screw) this didnt affect the machines foiling capabilities but i did return it to recieve a new one, which ive yet to try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So happy with the Minc Already in love with this machine. Worked perfectly, from my first attempts!! One star off because it is still a bit high in price. But now that I have seen my results, I think it is worth the investment because I am going to use it a LOT. The Minc gets to it's temperature very quickly. And it is easy to use. It works so much better than the ordinary laminator I already had, and I tried to use for foiling, after finding a lot of people online who got great results with an ordinary laminator. Me, not so much... I used to have to wait 20 minutes for my ordinary laminator to get hot enough, with black dots still showing where the foil didn't adhere properly. Now that is all in the past! (I am using the same paper (use smooth paper!) and printer as I did with the ordinary laminator.) I think I will be foiling about everything!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant product and amazing customer service So pleased with both the product and the service from the rugby store, The product is to foil onto my wedding invites, leaves a lovely professional finish to the foil. Well worth the money to add the finishing touches Wasn’t available in store but the lady ordered it straight into store and I picked up the following day.
