Great value
I was nervous to use elasticated thread after hearing how difficult it can be, but it was so easy. Used this thread to make a dress for my daughter within a few hrs and using the elasticated thread meant it was an easy fit. Good quality and great value for money.

did a good job on the yoga socks
My daughter wanted Yoga socks, slightly longer than normal so I knitted the shirring elastic into apart of the feet and also the top to hole them up as she also dances in them

Shirring is so simple! Who knew?
My daughter showed me a YouTube for shirring, as I'd always thought it was too hard. I had a try, without her knowing and found it surprisingly easy! The staff gave me the confidence to have a go.

Was recommended the incorrect product.
I was recommended this by a member of staff for making bead bracelets. They don't tie tight and the ends fray. I don't know think this was the right product for what I wanted to use it for.

I always like to have a supply of this elastic in store as can be used for so many things. It is a good quality product that's doesn't constantly fray or snap like some on the market.

Easy to use
This was bought for attaching a Halloween mask as the original elastic was too weak. Works very well, I also find it useful to have in the sewing box for lots of reaons.

Works well for most fabric
Have used this shirring elastic on thinner shirts and fleece and it works for a shirring effect very well. I recommend hand winding the bobbin.
