I’ve not bought hessian before so I’ve no comparison, however, I’m impressed with my purchase. Used it to make a small bag and was happy with the look and finish. No hand sewing, all machine.

Good quality at reasonable price
I looked on the internet for this product and was happy to find it cheaper than most stores at hobby craft. My friends and family always give me gift vouchers for Christmas and my birthday because they know this one of my favourite shops. I got it cheaper too as it was in the sale (which was a bonus). I've got some other projects on the go but I was gifted a rug kit and it was very therapeutic making it so this purchase will be for a future project. The quality appears first class so I'm looking forward to creating with it.

Great fabric for my school display boards and so easy to put up with the little bit of stretch.

Perfect advent background
After looking everywhere to find an advent calendar I’d seen for my kids just before lockdown and having no luck. I by chance saw this in Hobbycraft. It’s been a perfect background to sew shapes to, to make advent calendar pockets. And enough to do a double layer on a calendars for each of my two children

Just what was needed.
I was looking to do a home repair on a large, insulated jute shopping bag handle whose internal bamboo cane and inner handle had perished/worn out. This was just the thing and with the help of a heavy darning needle, some woollen cross stitches and a large thimble, job's done...!

Great Quality at a Great Price
I have a number of projects needing hessian so ordered this to save money overall against the other options, and that was a great move. It cuts well, doesn’t fray too much and is sturdy but also flexible.
