Unfit for purpose
I dont think i would buy this even for a child. Not suitable for sewing anything other than light material. Extremely small and quite challenging to mamage as an adult. The pedal is flimsy and not very sensitive. The backward stitch puckers the material. The material catches when it goes through. I wish id retained the box as i would have returned it. I bought it for simple mending jobs on split seams for example and it is absolutely unfit for purpose. The spools which come in the bundle don't fit properly.

Faulty machine
Bought for my daughter but faulty and never worked. Taken back and the store manager questioned how we had used it, although we didn’t even reach removing the test fabric. They agreed to replace it but when we asked them to test the second machine, there was the same issue with the power. Clearly a manufacturing fault, I would guess with the power supply.

Great for simple projects and crafting.
A good little sewing machine for simple projects. The overall feel of the machine is quite robust even though it is quite light. The light weight means that it's easy to get out and pack away when you need to. It has a tiny foot pedal which again is very light so doesn't always stay in place.

Hopeless!
Came threaded up with piece of fabrc in it, is that nirmal? Tried it out and after 1 second, the thread broke. Spent about 45 mins trying to thread the needle sgain. An ant with a telescope couldn't thread this! I had to remove needle to thread it with threader. Also, i accidentally loosened the presser foot, and after 2 hours, stll cant get it back on! Its going back tomorrow.

Great little Purchase
A great little machine for the money, and I am also a learner, re- visiting what I learnt at School. Made a few nice, simple things with it already..
Just one little complaint with it, it won't let you pull the Thread out far enough, before Needle starts to bend to cut it. Other than that, it's a great little machine for a beginner like me. Good value.

Don't buy, needles keep breaking
Opened this yesterday and gone through 3 needles already, the needle is catching on the bobbin holder and you can't access it with undoing some screws, I have brought some more needles which don't fit the machine, a lot of these reviews are saying the needles are breaking so obviously a fault on the machine, wish I'd read the reviews before I brought it waste of money

Why not to believe the negative reviews!
Bought this a few days ago. I'm a 72-year old bloke, with no sewing machine experience. Within 30 minutes I had made a 1 metre long faux leather (vinyl) cover for a bench seat cushion. It was easy, if you follow the instructions, and use a bit of common sense. Here's my answer to most of the negative review problems:-
1.Foot pedal too light, moves around; it is light, but my foot was on it, and it didn't move.
2.Needle keeps breaking; I didn't have this problem, but it did bend. This was my fault, because I pulled the work to one side too much while sewing (this could cause the needle to break if you try to keep using without fixing it). I straightened the needle, refitted, and carried on using it with no problem. Incidentally, someone wrote that the needles are impossible to thread. Rubbish! It's just a normal needle which I threaded easily, without having to take it out of the machine, as someone else wrote.
3. A few people implied their machines must have been used, as they had some stitched material under the needle. It's clearly a patch of material with stitching from the machine to demonstrate that it does work. It's very obvious!
To summarise, it's an amazingly cheap little machine which even a total beginner can use, even on fairly heavy duty vinyl. If you are careful, and don't treat it like Granny's old Singer, you'll be fine!

Garbage!
Worked for a few months to be fair, but now just doesn't stitch at all! I've tried EVERYTHING to sort and i'm very tempted to throw it out of the window! Garbage!
