Fantastic value for money
I love making bags, but my current machine struggles with thick fabrics like denim and faux leather. For the price, I thought the Hobbycraft 32S was worth a try and I’m so glad I did. The machine was really easy to set up. Five minutes and I was ready to sew.
The double lift on the foot made it really easy to get four layers of denim under the foot and the machine powered through all 32 stitch options really easily using the foot and needle that came with the machine.
The feet are easy to slide on and off and with an ultra glide foot, I achieved perfect top stitching on a faux leather bag handle.
This machine does all I need it to do and more. I can’t wait to make my first denim rucksack and try some dress making.

Sewing machine works like a dream!
I went in to hobbycraft and really didn’t know what I was wanting to buy. The lassie in the shop was incredibly helpful and chatted to me about how I’d be using the machine and then showed me lots of models and explained them with enough information to keep my interest but didn’t overload me. It was actually a very quick and easy decision to choose a machine with her help whereas before I just stood there in confusion. The machine is amazing and feels lovely to work with. I’ve always borrowed sewing machines from family so I’m really excited to now have my own one. My first project turned out fantastic, thank you!!

Fantastic Sewing Machine
I bought this for a present for my mum and she loves it. It is so easy to use and we have already tried it with denim which was a main reason to buy.

Difficult instructions
I bought this machine today online. Collected this morning. No one at store about to show me demo. I have tried to understand how to get it to simply sew. I've been a seamstress for over 55 years. This machine has completely beaten me. It won't sew any thing together! All I'm doing is getting thread caught up and getting frustrated. All I wanted was to sew a pair of curtains for my granddaughter for Fri for her birthday. My previous machine a necci over 40 yes old has just packed up. Hence buying this one. Seems £150 down the drain. Tried ringing store for help but Specialist isn't in until Thursday or Friday and I will be working then away... so thrawted at every turn.
Instructions are useless as is on line. Pictures difficult to follow. I've packed it up now having wasted 4 hours on it.

Hobbycraft 32s sewing machine
I love my new sewing machine, since purchasing, I have been busy making things for my grandchildren. I did experience a few hiccups along the way, which I put it down to the fact that I hadn't used a sewing machine for over 45 years. I had the instruction manual at hand and managed to solve any of the issues I had created by my lack of experience with the sewing machine. I used the buttonhole foot for the first time the other day, and after a few practice runs, I was able to use on a small dress.

Well worth it.
This sewing machine has been a god-send as my older machine gave up the ghost while I was doing a very important piece of work. I would recommend this affordable machine to beginners and expert dressmakers alike. Well worth the money
