Knitcraft Return of the Mac in Khaki (yarn B) x 1
8mm hook
Abbreviations (UK terms)
Ch – chain
Dc- double crochet
Ss- slip stitch
St(s) – stitch(es)
Bobble – (yrh, insert hook in st, yrh and pull up loop, yrh and pull through 2 loops) repeat 4 times in total until 5 loops are on the hook, yrh and pull through all loops. Pull secure and continue to work next st as normal.
Pattern Notes
Use the tapestry crochet method to carry yarn A through stitches when working with yarn B.
Using yarn A and 8mm hook ch2.
Round 1: 6dc into 2nd ch from hook, ss to beg of round. (6sts)
Round 2: 1ch, 2dc into each st, ss to beg of round. (12sts)
Round 3: 1ch, *1dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (18sts)
Round 4: 1ch, *2dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (24sts)
Round 5: 1ch, *3dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (30sts)
Round 6: 1ch, *4dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (36sts)
Round 7: 1ch, *5dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (42sts)
Round 8: 1ch, *6dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (48sts)
Round 9: 1ch, *7dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (54sts)
Round 10: 1ch, *8dc, 2dc into next st, rep from * to end, ss to beg of round. (60sts)
Round 11(RS): 1ch, 1dc into back loop of each st, ss to beg of round, turn.
Round 12-14: 1ch, 1 dc into each st, ss to beg of round, turn.
Round 15(RS): 1ch, 22dc, work row 1 of chart, dc to end, ss to beg of round, turn.
Round 16: 1ch, 23dc, work row 2 of chart, dc to end, ss to beg of round, turn.
These last 2 rows set chart position.
Continue working chart until all rows have been completed.
Next row (RS): 1ch, 10dc, skip 10 sts, 10ch, 20dc, skip 10sts, 10ch, 10dc, ss to beg st, turn.
Next row: 1ch, 1dc into each st or ch to end, ss to beg of st, turn.
Next row: 1ch, 1dc into each st or ch to end, ss to beg of st, turn.
Fasten off.
Sew in all ends.
