Cricut: How to Make a Foiled Father's Day Card
Create a card for your rockstar dad this Father's Day using the Cricut Joy Foil Transfer System. In less than twenty minutes, you can have a beautiful foiled card for your extra-special dad.
The Cricut Joy has been used to create this project; however, it can also be adapted for use on the Cricut Explore and Maker machines.

How to make

* Cricut Design Space app installed on a Desktop device
Start by opening up the project in the Cricut Design Space app using the project link at the top of this post, or alternatively use the link below -

To access the project, copy and paste the link into your browser, you will be directed to a Cricut ladning page, select 'Open' followed by 'Open Cricut Design Space Application'.
The app will open (you may be prompted to log in) and the project overview screen will appear.
Select 'Edit a copy' to open the project in a new Canvas, esure you have 'Joy' selected within the app and then click 'Make it'.
Add your chosen insert card onto the Card Mat, making sure the front of the card is well stuck down, then lay a gold foil sheet (right side up) onto of the card, secure into place on all four sides using the tape strips provided, stretching it taut as you go.
Remove the blade from your Cricut Joy and insert the foil transfer tool.
Load the Card Mat into the machine, selecting 'Insert Card Cardstock' from the material settings, then press go.
The machine will then start creating the foiled design, once the process is complete, carefully remove the foil sheet from the mat, making sure not to eject the mat from the machine.
Remove the Foil Transfer Tool and replace it with the cutting blade. Click 'Go' to start the cut and complete the design.
Once the machine has finished cutting, remove the mat.
Carefully remove the card from the mat using the spatula and/or scraper tool.
Add the postion your chosen insert card inside the card, using the cut slots in all four corners.
