How to make

Cricut Joy: How to Make a Father's Day Aperture Card

Step 1

Open Cricut Design Space and search for 'First my father forever my friend' and click 'Make It'.

Step 2

On the preview mat screen, press 'Continue' and select the 'Insert Card' material setting.

Step 3

Insert the card blank into the Cricut Card Mat, so that the back of the card blank sits under the top layer. You'll also need to align the card to the very top of the mat as indicated.

Step 4

Follow the on-screen instructions, inserting the blade into the adapter and then inserting the Card Mat into the machine.

Step 5

Click 'Go' when you're ready to cut.

Step 6

Once cut, unload the mat and carefully remove the card from the mat.

Step 7

To finish your card, add the insert into the corner slots, then write your message inside.
