Step 1

Download the free Spring Sign file.

Place the maple plywood in your Glowforge and open the Glowforge homepage on your device. Click on 'Create a New Design’ on the left of the screen, then click on 'Upload a File’ and select the Spring Sign file.

Step 2

Line up the design on the part of the board you want it to cut on.

If the board still has the label on it, the software will detect the Glowforge proofgrade material and load the settings for cut and engrave automatically. If it doesn’t, click on ‘Unknown Material’ and select maple plywood.

Step 3
Click on the layer with the floral pattern on it, then click the arrow on the right of ‘SD Graphic’ and change ‘Precision Power’ to 30. This will give a lighter, shallower engrave on the floral pattern for a softer look.
Step 4

Click 'Print' and press the flashing button on your Glowforge.

When the print is finished, remove the board and your cut pieces from the machine and remove the mask from all pieces.

Step 5
Give ‘spring’ a couple of coats of the light pink acrylic, including the edges, and when dry, glue to the sign with the high tack glue.
