How to Crochet a Reusable Washcloth Set
Reusable washcloths are a great alternative to wipes or cotton pads, and by crocheting your own, you can help reduce waste and even save yourself some money by ditching single-use products.

* 4mm Crochet Hook
* Scissors

Abbreviations
Ch- Chain
MC - Magic Circle
Dc – Double Crochet
Htr – Half Double Treble
Slst – Slip Stitch

Bbl (bobble stitch) - (yrh, insert hook in st, yrh and pull up loop, yrh and pull through 2 loops) repeat 5 times in total until 6 loops are on the hook, yrh and pull through all loops. Pull secure and continue to work next st as normal.
How To Make
Using 'Yarn A' and 4mm hook, make a MC.
Round 1: 6dc into MC. (6dc)
Round 2: 2dc in each st around. (12dc)
Round 3: *2dc into next st, 1dc* rep around. (18dc)
Round 4: Ch1, *2htr in next st, 2htr* rep around, slst to first st. (24htr)
Round 5: Ch1, *2htr in next st, 3htr* rep around, slst to first st. (30htr)
Round 6: Ch1, *2htr in next st, 4htr* rep around, slst to first st. (36htr)
Change to any contrasting yarn.
Round 7: Ch1, 1 crab st in each st, slst to to first st.
Fasten off.
Weave in all ends.
Using 'Yarn A' and 4mm hook, ch33.
Row 1: 1htr into 2nd ch from hook, 1htr into each ch across, ch1 and turn. (32htr)
Row 2: 1htr into each st. Change to 'Yarn C'. Ch1 and turn.
Row 3-4: 1dc into each st, ch1 and turn.
Row 5: 2dc, (bbl, 3dc) rep until 2 sts remain, bbl, 1dc, ch1 and turn.
Row 6: 1dc into each st, turn. Change to 'Yarn A'. Ch1 and turn.
Row 7: 1htr into each st, ch1 and turn.
Repeat last row until work measures approx. 20cm.
Fasten off.
Using 'Yarn C' and RS facing, rejoin yarn to any st.
Work 1 crab stitch into each st and 2 crab stitch into each corner, slst to beg of round.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Using 'Yarn A' and 4mm hook, ch11.
Round 1: 2dc into 2nd ch from hook, 8dc, 3dc into last st, turn work to now work into the bottom of the chain, 9dc along the bottom of ch ending in the bottom of the 1st st. (22dc)
Round 2: 1dc, 2dc into next st, 8dc, 2dc into next st, 1dc, 2dc into next st, 8dc, 2dc into next st, (26dc)
Round 3-6: 1ch, 1dc into each st, slst to beg of round.
Round 7: 1ch (does not count as st), (1htr, miss 1 st, 1ch), repeat to end, slst to beg of round.
Round 8: 1ch, 1dc into each st, slst to beg of round.
Repeat rounds 7- 8 until work measures length of soap that you wish to use.
Change to 'Yarn D'
Next round: 1ch, 1dc into each st, slst to beg of round.
Work last round 3 times in total.
Next round: 1ch, (1dc, miss 1 st, 1ch) repeat to end, slst to beg of round.
Next round: 1ch, 1dc into each st, slst to beg of round.
Next round: 1ch, 1 crab stitch into each st, slst to beg of round.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Making Up
Create a chain the desired length to thread through the top of the soap saver and secure around the tap.
