How to Face Paint a Skeleton
If you're looking for a spooky look that isn't too scary, this skeleton face painting project is just for you! Quick and easy to do, you'll be able to transform your little monster into a skeleton with just a few Snazaroo face painting supplies.
They'll still be recognised by their friends as you only need to paint half their face! Finish the look by styling with a bow or floral headdress to mark the Halloween occasion.

How to make
Start off by applying the Snazaroo white faceprint all over the face. Apply with a sponge and avoid the eye area.
Top tip: Use a damp sponge and not a wet sponge. Protect the eye with a flat cotton wool pad.
Create some shaded areas using grey.
Top tip: mix the black and white on the back of your hand before applying.
Use a piece of kitchen roll folded in half as a guide to create your 'half' skeleton face. Dab using your sponge to create a nice and straight line.
Draw an oval outline around the eye. Use a flat cotton wool pad to protect the eye and guide you on the shape.
Start to shade in the area above the eye to create a 'hollow' look.
Then, Paint the lips in black or a dark colour.
Draw an oval shape around the eye.
Top tip: If you need a template, then use a flat cotton wool pad to protect the eye and draw around the shape.
To really get the skeleton look, draw a few strategically placed cracked lines with a little bit of shadow.
Complete by shading around the eye area a little more to get that 'haunted' look.
Now you have a spooky, yet dashing, skeleton ready for trick-or-treating!
