How to Knit a Beer Mug Hug

* 4mm Knitting Needles
* Buttons
* Yarn Needles
* Scissors
How To Make
Cast on 57 sts using 4mm needles and yarn A.
Row 1 (RS): Purl.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3 (RS): P3, * long st (insert needle into stitch 2 rows below stitch and K1 dropping the unworked st), P3; rep from * to end of row.
Row 4: Knit.
Row 5: Purl.
Row 6: Knit.
Row 7 (RS): P1, * long st (insert needle into stitch 2 rows below stitch and K1 dropping the unworked st), P3; rep from * to last 3 st, long st, P3.
Repeat these 7 rows until the knitting measures 8cm ending on a K row.
Next Row: Change to yarn B, K1, *P1, K1; repeat from * to end of row.
Continue in moss stitch for four more rows.
Cast off in pattern.
Weave in all loose ends.
Strap
With right side facing, pick up and knit 10 sts with yarn A, 4cm up from the cast-on edge.
Continue in stocking stitch for 3.5cm, ending on a WS.
Buttonhole Row: K2, yo, k2tog, K2, ssk, yo, K2.
Continue in stocking stitch for 1.5cm.
Cast off.
