Abbreviations

K: knit

Kfb: knit into the front and back of the next stitch (1 increase)

K2tog: knit two stiches together (1 decrease)

Sl1wyif: slip one stitch with yarn in front

 

Special Stitches

MB: knit into front, back, front and back of next stitch, turn, k4, turn, k2tog twice, slip first k2tog over the second and off the needle

 

Gauge

13 stitches over 18 rows = 10cm using 8mm needles

To fit any size head. 

Repeat pattern to fit any size needed.

You Will Need 

WI Soft and Chunky

1x Mustard Yarn A,

1x Hot Pink Yarn B,

1x Teal Yarn C

 

To create a jewelled crown, follow the main pattern with the following changes: 

Row 9: k6, drop yarn A, MB using yarn B, continue using Yarn A, k3, kfb, sl1wyif

Repeat rows 1-18 until desired size, alternate between using Yarn C and Yarn B to create the jewelled coloured bobbles
