How To Make

Step 1

Start by making some heart templates to trace onto your card. To make the templates, fold a piece of scrap paper in half, draw a half-heart shape along the folded edge of the paper and cut the heart out. For the two small hearts, cut two pieces together so the hearts are the same size.

Step 2

Place the hearts templates onto to the front of your card blank and use temporary adhesive or tiny pieces of Blue Tack to keep them in place. You may wish to trim down your card blank to fit the templates better.

Step 3

Select a few shades of pink and a white ready mixed paint. Spread a thin layer of each paint onto a tray, so you have just enough paint to cover the tips of your fingers.

Step 4

Now for the fun part! Start dipping and printing with your fingers around the hearts. Make sure you don't apply too much paint to your fingertips to avoid the paint bleeding trough the templates.

Leave to dry fully before writing your message inside.
