If you need a simple Easter project you can do at home using only store cupboard ingredients, then look no further!

Re-purpose last year's cosy socks (washed of course), to make these cute Easter bunnies.

These sock bunnies look their best when displayed together, so make a few in different sizes and colours, then pop them around the house to embrace the season.

How to make

You Will Need

* A Clean Sock

* Rice

* String

* Ribbon

* Marker Pen

* Scissors

* Roll of Tape (Optional)

Step 1
Use a roll of tape to keep the ankle of the sock open while you add your rice.

Step 2
Add 750g of dried rice to the sock. It should be around ¾ full.

Step 3
Push the rice down into the sock to compact it.

Step 4
Tie a piece of string in a double knot around the top to secure the rice inside.

Step 5
About ⅓ of the way down the rice filled portion of the sock, tie another tight double knot to create the bunny’s head.

Step 6
Add a piece of ribbon around the bunny’s neck and tie a bow.

Step 7
To make the ears, use scissors to cut the top of the sock in half.

Step 8
Shape the two halves into bunny ears.

Finally use a marker to add a cute face to the bunny.
