How to Make a Pamper Gift Hamper
Spoil that special someone with this bee-utiful pamper hamper.
Full of pampering treats, your recipient can sit back and relax whilst enjoying all your handmade gifts.

How To Make
Cover a sheet of white card in yellow ink, splash with water and wait a few seconds then lay a piece of kitchen towel over the top to soak up the water creating a unique pattern.
Cut 11 small triangles from your yellow card.
Use alaphabet stamps and black ink to create your message on the flags.
Cut a piece of twine that will fit across the front of the crate.
Glue each flag to the twine ensuring to leave equal gaps between each flag.
Draw and cut out a mask shape onto card to create a template.
Lay the template onto the reverse side of your chosen fabric, draw around the template with a pencil.
Cut around the shape at approximately 5mm around the pencil line, this will allow for sewing. Repeat this step again so there are two identical pieces.
Use the template again to draw and cut out a piece of felt only this time ensure to cut a few millimetres less so the felt will fill nicely inside the mask.
Cut a length of elastic approximately 25cm. You can hold the elastic around the back of your head to judge how much you will need.
Lay the two fabric pieces together with the right sides facing inwards, lay the elastic across and pin all the way around the edge.
Sew around the edge following the pencil line, ensure to catch the elastic in as you sew. Leave a gap of about 6cm.
Turn the mask inside out so the pattern is now on the outside, feed in the felt piece then sew up the gap turning in the fabric as you sew.
Paint the outside of the crate using white acrylic paint. You may wish to use masking tape to cover the inside edges, for a neat finish.
Once the crate is dry, stencil on some bees using a blending tool and a yellow ink pad.
When fully dry, attach the bunting to the front of the crate.
Fill the hamper with straw or shredded paper and then place your gifts inside.
