Need a quick and easy Halloween costume that doesn't break the bank? Why not upcycle a black t-shirt into a skeleton costume with this super-simple guide!

Simply cut bone shapes out of felt, use heat 'n' seal to adhere them to your t-shirt, and off you go for your spooky celebrations! It'll give you the perfect look for trick-or-treating fun.

How To Make

You Will Need
* Heat 'N' Seal
* White A4 Felt Sheet
* Scissors
* PIns
* Black T-shirt
* Iron

Templates

Step 1

Print the template onto A4 paper on a borderless setting. There are 3 templates to choose from, depending on what size you need. 

Cut out all the pieces.

Step 2

Cut a piece of white felt and a piece of heat ‘n’ seal to the same size. Make sure they’re big enough to fit all your pieces on, including the mirrored pieces.

Following the instructions on the pack, iron the heat ‘n’ seal to the felt.

Leave to cool. Then carefully peel the backing paper from the heat ‘n’ seal, leaving the heat activated adhesive behind.

Step 3

Pin the template pieces to the felt and cut them out.

Don’t forget to cut a second set of arm bones and ribs by turning the template over and mirroring them.

Step 4

Place the bones on the t-shirt with the adhesive side face down. 

Follow the instructions on the heat ‘n’ seal pack and iron them to the t-shirt.

Step 5

Your skeleton costume is now complete!
