Square Frame Wreath

Preparation

 

Cut:

20 x 2.5 meters of Return of the mac sage

1 x 80cm of Return of the mac ecru or sage

 

1.Place the 20 strings on the frame using the Reversed Lark’s Head Knot

2.Tie a row of Square Knots

3.Tie a row of Berry Knots

4.Repeat step 2-3 three more times

5.Trim the fringe at the desired length

6.Place the greenery on the top of the frame and the 80cm string behind the frame

7.Tie a Half Square Knot

8.Continue tying Half Square Knots until you covered the greenery or run out of strings

9.Turn the frame, tie a simple knot and trim excess string

Triangle Frame Wreath

Preparation

 

Cut:

20 x 2.5 meters of Return of the mac ecru

1 x 80cm of Return of the mac ecru or sage

 

Butterfly Square Knots:

 

1. Fold two strings in half and fix on a flat surface

2. Tie a Square Knot

 

Tutorial:

 

1. Tie 5 Butterfly Square Knots and set aside

2. Tie one Reversed Lark’s Head Knot on the frame

3. Tie one Butterfly Square Knots with the Double Half Hitch Knot on the frame

4. Tie two Reversed Lark’s Head Knot, followed by one Butterfly Square Knots with the Double Half Hitch Knot

5. Repeat  Step 4 three more times and finish by tying one last Reversed Lark’s Head Knot on the frame

6. Tie a row of Square Knots

7. Tie a row of alternating Berry Knots

8. Repeat Step 6 & 7

9. Continue alternating a row of Square Knots and Bery Knots decreasing the number of knots  by one on each row, finishing with one Berry knot.

10. Trim the fringe at the desired length

11. Add the greenery following STEP 6-9 from the Square frame wreath tutorial

Round Frame Wreath

Preparation

 

Cut:

12 x 2.5 meters of Return of the mac ecru

8 x 2.5 meters of Return of the mac sage

1 x 80cm of Return of the mac ecru or sage

 

1. Place the 12 strings of Return of the mac ecru on the frame using the Reversed Lark’s Head Knot

2. Tie 4 Butterfly Square Knots with the Return of the mac sage

3. Place two on each side of the Reversed Lark’s Knots using the Double Half Hitch Knots

4. Tie a row of Square Knots

5. Tie a row of Berry Knots

6. Repeat Step 4-5 three more times

7. Trim the fringe at the desired length

8. Add the greenery following STEP 6-9 from the Square frame wreath tutorial
