How to Make

Step-1

Choose five pieces of paper or card that are all different colours. Cut a circle out of each piece of paper, each circle slightly smaller than the last. I found circular objects to draw around, like a plate or bowl.

Step-2

Place them all on top of each other and using a hole-punch, punch a hole at the top – you will be tying them all together at the end. Punch a hole at the edge of your paper plate too.

Step-3

On the smallest circle, draw a picture of your house and write 'My house' underneath.

Step-4

On the second circle draw a picture of your village, town or city and write 'My village' or “My town' underneath.

Step-5

On the next circle draw a picture of the country you live in and write 'My country' underneath.

Step-6

On the next circle draw a picture of the continent you live in and write 'My continent' underneath.

Step-7

And finally, on your paper plate draw a picture of the Earth and write 'My planet' at the bottom.

Step-8

Gather all of your pieces together in size order and tie them all together with the pipe cleaner. Twist the pipe cleaner around to secure it and you are finished! Lift up each circle to see the one underneath!
