How to make

Step-1
Take an inch sized lump of FIMO. Warm and mould it in your hands until it becomes malleable, then roll it into a ball. Use a rolling pin to flatten this out to a thickness of about four millimetres.
Step-2
Press a cookie cutter over the FIMO and give it a gentle twist to form a neat circle. If you want to make Olympic rings, use a pen lid to gently press circles onto the fimo. You could also use a credit card, fork, toothpicks and so on, to create different patterns.
Step-3
Heat your oven to 110 Celsius. Line a tray with tin foil and bake your medals for 30 minutes.

Step-4
Take the medals out of the oven and leave them for about 10 minutes to cool. If you want an extra level of shine, paint on a coating of varnish.

Step-5
Cut pieces of ribbon measuring around 75 centimetres. Line the ends of the ribbon up on the back of the medal – ensuring there are no twists in the ribbon. Glue onto the back of the medal and leave to set.
Step-6
Your medals are all finished! Sofa high jump anyone?
