Snowman: Step 1

Fold a piece of blue card in half with the short ends together.

Paint the sole of your child’s foot with white paint. (Prepare for the wriggles and giggles!)

Then firmly print your child’s foot onto the card with the heel at the top and toes at the bottom. Lift and leave to dry.

Snowman: Step 2

Cut a rough semi-circle out of light blue self-adhesive felt for a hat. Peel off the backing and stick on to the top of the snowman (the heel of the footprint).

Apply a small blob of glue onto the top of the hat. Stick a light blue pom pom onto the glue and leave to dry.

Snowman: Step 3

Stick on some googly eyes.

Snowman: Step 4

Cut a small triangle from orange washi tape to create a carrot shaped nose. Stick onto the face underneath the eyes.

Snowman: Step 5

Using a black felt tip or marker pen, draw on some dots to make a mouth, and buttons going down the body.

Snowman: Step 6

Cut a small strip of patterned washi tape and stick across the snowman's neck to create a scarf.

Then cut two more strips of tape (one slightly smaller than the other) and cut a V in one end of each of them. Stick these on top of the previous strip to make the ends of the scarf.

Using a brown felt tip, draw on some stick shanped arms to finish off your snowman.

Reindeer: Step 1

Paint your child’s hand with brown paint.

Press your child’s hand down firmly onto a white card, then turn the card the other way up and do a second print of the hand, ensuring the two prints join in the middle at the palms.

Leave to dry.

Reindeer: Step 2

Cut a strip of washi tape to create the collar of the reindeer.

Reindeer: Step 3

Add a small dot of glue to the thumb of one handprint and stick on a red pom pom for the nose.

Then stick on a googly eye.

Reindeer: Step 4

Using a brown felt tip, draw on some antlers.

Next, use a black felt tip to draw on some hooves, and any other details you want to.

Reindeer: Step 5

To create the strings of fairy lights, draw some wavy black lines on opposite corners of the card.

Then get your child to do some fingerprints in various colours next to the lines.

Once dry, draw a small black line from each fingerprint to connect it to the wavy line.

Angel: Step 1

Fold a piece of brown card in half with short sides together.

Paint your child's foot with white paint, and then firmily place your child's foot onto the card, with the heel at the top.

Angel: Step 2

Next, paint on some white wings with a paintbrush.

Leave to dry fully.

Angel: Step 3

Using a black pen, draw on the angel's face.

Angel: Step 4

To make the halo, draw a small circle above the head with clear PVA glue.

Then shake on some gold glitter over the glue and leave to dry.

When fully dry, shake off the excess glitter.
