How to make

You Will Need

* Eco Casting Resin

* Flowers (something dainty and flat like pansies, daisies, ferns and forget-me-nots)

* Heavy Books

* Wooden Coasters with a Lip Around the Edge

* Mixing Container (Paper Cups or Tupperware work well)

* Blotting Paper

* Nitrile Gloves

Step 1

If you are pressing your own flowers, you will need to place the florals on blotting paper in the middle of the book. Make sure you give each flower enough room to be pressed flat without touching another.

Use small, light florals such as pansies or ferny foliage; anything too bulky won't press well.

Leave inside the book and under a stack of a couple of heavier ones for a fortnight to press well.

Step 2

Mix your Eco Resin with water and have ready to pour into the coasters. Be sure to mix the components of the resin well and thoroughly as per the instructions.

Step 3

Experiment with placing your florals inside the coasters and play with placement. It is a lot easier to move the florals without the resin in place so make sure you are happy with your arrangements.

Step 4

Pour the resin over the pressed florals and up to the rim of the coasters.

Leave to harden for 24 hours before toasting a glass to your new floral coasters!

Step 5
Your coasters are now ready to use!
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish I bought the resin and coasters that were suggested. However the coasters are completely flat and have no delve to place flowers in and cover with resin .
