Want to try making a round weave? Then check out Tiam's (@knitsafari) amazing creation below and find it how to make your own version. By using yarn from your stash you can create an amazing wall hanging in an afternoon.
Choose your yarn! Get everything you might need close to you, so you don't have to stop weaving halfway through your project.
Step-2
Set up your loom, by wrapping your base yarn around the notches of the loom (I used Hobbycraft Cotton DK in White for this step.) At the final wrap, bring the yarn to the centre of the loom and weave it over and under each pair of threads, pulling tightly as you weave. Take the yarn to the back and secure it.

Step-3
Thread a length of yarn onto your needle, and start weaving. Use your imagination, and weave whatever you want to weave!
Step-4
When you have filled in all the space, start knotting loops and tassels of yarn into your woven base, to create texture, fringing and a 3D effect. Go wild, if you decide you don't like it, you can always undo it and move the clump of yarn!

Step-5
Trim your tassels and yarn pieces, to create some shape and interest. I separated out the ply of the mustard coloured yarn to create a curly soft effect, trimmed the hot pink and pale pink tassels diagonally across, and the pale pink bluntly through the loops.
