How to Make Egg Box and Cupcake Case Daffodils
Make these simple and fun paper daffodils from basic kitchen materials! Turn egg boxes and cupcake cases into beautiful floral blooms.

How to make
You will also need Egg Boxes, and can use straws or pipe cleaners instead of Oasis wire for the stems.
Cut out the 'trumpet' parts from your egg box.
If desired, stain or paint your egg box with inks or paints and leave to dry.
Take a cupcake case and cut in half and half again and trim out the middle centre (that would normally be your cupcake case base). Cut at the edges so you have 4 sections - this will be enough for 4 flowers.
Cut into each of these sections along the cupcake case ridges about half way down to make a frilly edge.
Carefully roll up one of these and using a glue gun attach inside your egg box 'trumpets'.
Take one of your cupcake cases and fold in half, then into quarters and then again into eighths (to make 8 petals.) Or, fold in half and then into 'thirds' (to make six petals).
Trim your folded cupcake case to make a 'petal' shape.
Unfold your now flower shape and using a glue gun attach to the back of your trumpet shape.
Attach whatever you are using for a stem also with a glue gun to the back of your flower, or – use your flowers without a stem onto an Easter bonnet, wreath, gift wrap – you can do whatever you like!
