Hi! I’m Rosie from hobbycraft Tunbridge Wells. I specialise in sewing, painting, jewellery making and all kinds of crafts we support in store! I spend most of my time making toys and clothes for my friends and I enjoy using promarkers and posca paint pens. I mostly craft things that are cute and brightly coloured that can hopefully bring a smile to people’s faces! I also enjoy working with fluffy material, so I always try to incorporate it into lots of my crafts. I make a lot of plush handbags and fluffy clothes and toys.

Rosie’s Makes

Furby

Furbies are one of my passions and there is a trend online of making long ones, so I made my own. I drew the pattern myself and sculpted the face with air dry clay, and painted it with acrylic paint and mod podge

Teddy Bear

This is a bear that I made and then sculpted a face for with air dry clay. I painted it with acrylics and chalk pastels, I then used a coat of mod podge to seal the paint in and stuck some fake eyelashes on! I also made him a strawberry to hold.

Video Game Character painting

This is a painting of another one of my favourite video game characters, I used a star shaped canvas from hobbycraft and acrylic paint. He is from a horror game but I wanted to make him look cute and happy.
