How to Make a Garden Party Napkin

How to make
Cut your fabric into 27cm squares, to create the contrasting colour napkins you'll need 2 different coloured squares per napkin.
Choose your Ric Rac colour and gather a matching thread. You will need to cut your ric rac to match the length of your napkin so mind is 27cm however this technique can be applied to any sized napkin.
Add a running stitch along the ric rac 1inch away from the fabric edge on the opposite sides of the square. You can do this on the sewing machine or by hand.
Place your two fabric squares on top of each other with the ric rac trim 'inside'. Begin stitching your pieces together starting 1/2inch into the square and stitching along each side until you have nearly stitched the whole square (you'll need to leave a small gap to pull your napkin the right side out.
Pull the napkin through the hole and run a running stitch along the side of the napkin with the hole folding the un sewn seams in to secure.
