Wreath Top Tips

When creating your wreath, use these handy tips:

Use a rattan wreath base so floral/foliage stems can be pushed straight into it.

Keep the foliage flowing in the same direction. This creates a uniform effect on the wreath.

Decorative pieces such as orange slices, cinnamon sticks and bow is wired onto the back of the wreath. This creates a contrast against the foliage, which is pushed through the rattan base.

Use invisible thread to hang your creation.

Experiment with different types of bows, choose one that compliments the style of your wreath.

Wired ribbon is a good option if you want a large, structured bow.

Garland Top Tips

When creating a Christmas garland, follow these handy tips:

During the construction process, step back and look at where things need to be moved or if there are any gaps that need to be filled.

Add wire to elements so you can move them around.

Evenly spread elements (like pinecones and cinnamon sticks) across whole garland.

Create a central point in the garland and direct leaves and elements downwards.

Start with a green base layer, then add other flourishes like ivy and berries. Finish off by adding in small items like oranges and cinnamon stick once you're happy with everything else.
