How to make

Step-1

Connect the Cricut Explore to the pc/laptop/Mac, log on to your Design Space account. Select 'Kid's Crafts' from the categories menu and locate the 'Party Animal Masks' project.

Step-2

The project creates four animal faces; cat, fox, lion and owl; each measuring approximately 23 centimetres by 12 centimetres. To create the project as designed, click 'Make it Now'. To resize the project, click 'customise'.

Step-3

The image can be re-sized either by first highlighting the image and then dragging the corner point: the size appears in a black text box as the image is altered: or applying a known measurement into the 'Edit' window.

Step-4

The image can be changed by first highlighting then deleting the one pre-loaded, then either selecting another from the image library ('insert image') or uploading an image from your own system as a .jpeg, .bmp, .gif, .png, .svg, or .dfx file.

Step-5

Cut the image from the various shades of cardstock as shown by the cutting mat colour on the cutting screens.

Step-6

Carefully glue the faces together using PVA glue. Then use a hot glue gun and glue sticks to attach them to wooden sticks.
