Rated 1 out of 5 by from Already dried up I had to cut the applicator off to get any glue out. Even chopping off tiny bits at first, it would just squeeze out blobs of already dry glue. So I had to squeeze it out on to a tissue. I can't use this to stick things together without creating more waste as I have to use something else as an applicator, something as a temporary surface/palette, and I can't control how much actually viable glue will come out because it's dry. Probably good if you have to stick just one thing, but if you want to use it more than once it's not worth it. The base of the bottle looks completely dried up as there are air bubbles that don't move when pressed. I'm gonna cut it open to see, then chuck it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Went off the reviews - was disappointed Reapplied about 10 times, the two fabrics I was trying to stick together just kept bouncing off, in the end I had to use a hair clip to keep them together. Just looked at it now & because of that it didn’t accurately stick where I wanted it to. The glue was white & what I used it for was black, it didn’t dry clear so it’s very obvious. You also need to let it sit for 24 hours. The fact it wasn’t sticking to begin with make this product a waste for me. If you’re sticking things on top of one another where the glue will be hidden & you can put something heavy on top maybe you’ll have better luck, anything more advanced than that probably not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is very easy to use and works brilliantly. As a very busy mum who is also a full time primary teacher, I am very short of time and when my son brought 9 badges home from Beavers, which needed sewn onto his uniform, I asked a Hobbycraft lady if she knew of a cheats way of sewing the badges on. She showed me 3 different products, one of which was this fabric glue. It was very easy to use and within minutes I had all 9 badges very securely attached.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Advice re purchase of clear glue for cloth materials I was looking for a quick repair for my mother's cloth vertical blinds. I could not use needle and thread or iron bonding. I asked a member of staff, a young lady on the ground floor who pointed out two types available. A second older lady on the first floor further advised which one she would use. I bought the suggested item and subsequently glued my mother's blind. I am very grateful for the advice, guidance and that the blind is now ok. Thank you

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Depends what it's needed for Needed a fabric glue to restick an iron-on patch to a bag, whose own adhesive had failed. This worked well and has stuck the patch firmly. I also have two fleeces which for some reason don't have hanger loops on. Naturally I figured I could fashion a couple of loops from some ribbon, and stick them with the glue. I left it for more than 24 hours to ensure the glue had dried before hanging the fleeces on the coat hooks. Both held overnight, however a couple of hours into the morning I found one loop had given way at the glue point, while the other was just hanging on. WIll have to sew the loops on now. Partial recommendation as it is a good glue but you need to be careful with what you use it for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great glue Needed this to make my daughters outfit for school. I am not very good at sewing so bought this to stick fabric dots to a t-shirt. Worked really well. Easy to use with instructions on the bottle. Still sticking even after washing. Would definitely use this product again especially for small and quick jobs.

Can this be used to stick glitter to a jersey like will it hold and be able to wash it too

Asked by: Rirri
Depending on the amount of glitter you want to add, this should work, but to make it permanent you should seal it either with watered down glue over the top or a separate fixative spray. We'd suggest doing a test on a scrap of fabric first.

Will it stick blinds materials (shorting my blinds)

Asked by: Another job
Hi-Tack No Sew Fabric Glue is designed for bonding fabrics without stitching and works well for craft projects, hemming, and general fabric alterations. It dries clear, is non-toxic, and creates a permanent bond after 24 hours (or faster if heat is applied). It’s also machine washable once cured, making it suitable for most fabric types used in blinds. However, there are a few considerations for shortening blinds: Weight & Stress: Blinds often have some tension and weight, especially at the bottom hem. Hi-Tack glue is strong for fabric-to-fabric bonding but may not hold well under heavy stress compared to sewing or using iron-on hem tape. Material: If your blinds are made of thick or coated fabric, adhesion might be less effective. Finish: For a neat, durable finish, folding and gluing the hem is fine for light blinds, but heavier blinds may need reinforcement.

Will it stick foam to material please?

Asked by: MadreL
yes, this would be able to stick foam and material together, please note that if the foam is particularly absorbent this may not be best suited to your project.
