Connected pattern pieces of tracing paper effectively. Didn’t leave glue behind on the pattern paper like masking tape, or clog up and blunt the dressmaking pins like cello tape does. Could be removed from the paper easily without trace, unlike the mess of cello and masking glues.

Can this tape be painted?
You can as long as the paint isn't watered down too much but it may well show due to it being raised, so may need some primer of some kind to level the surface.
