difficult to follow pattern
I have used James Brett patterns and wool for some time and always have issues with how the pattern is written. I belong to a small knitting group and usually spend my time deciphering these patterns for some beginner knitters in the group.

All I needed under one roof!
I was so shocked when I walked into Hobby craft in Worcester. I think I walked the aisles twice if not more realising what I needed came under this one roof. It opened my eyes too and made me think of all the other hobbies that were open to me. I have been in several times enjoyed the choice at Christmas and my £5 birthday voucher...Thank you Hobby Craft

Confusing pattern - even for an experienced knitte
The pattern is very badly written. As an experienced knitter, and having followed the pattern, I now need to rework my blanket as the instructions do not result in the blanket as it appears. Next row means first row! No way of contacting James C Brett - website accepts only trade queries! Very disappointing.

Pattern hard to follow
I have only just started to knit this blanket, I am finding the pattern very difficult to read, if I do a knit row after the 2nd 8 rows of st-st I am going to be on the wrong side? As it will be 17 rows in total knitted?
I feel like giving up
Are you supposed to do a knit row after you have cast on?
