strange colour result
feels nice enough to touch but tried using this yarn for a few different projects, and had to unravel each one as no matter what stitch i used, the colours always looked very checkerboard-like and blocky, instead of a smooth mix

Faulty dye lot?
I have used the James C Brett stonewash yarn before and have always found it knits up really nicely and lovely to work with. However, even though i was very careful to make sure each ball of yarn was the same dye lot, 2 of the balls seem to have darker shades making some colours more defined than others. Shame really because other wise it is lovely yarn

Lovely Yarn
This is lovely yarn. It washes well at 30 degrees on a quick wash cycle without stretching out. It holds its colour and I’ve not noticed any bobbling yet. Perfect if you don’t like to hand wash, but don’t tumble dry.

Attractive combination colours
Lovely soft wool, I am making small blankets, some for babies and some for a day centre so I like a variety of colours and the mixed colours are very attractive
